Ok, I am slacking at work just to post this. Gabe sent me this unbelievably strange music video of 2 people rocking the fuck out in some far, far away land. I don't know how to describe it to you, other than saying mullet, mustache, keyboard, synth lines, and broken ass english. I really can't tell if this is some kind of joke or a real band. Its fantastic either way. The guy's name is [b]Zladko “Zlad” Vladcik[/b], and the song is called [b]"Elektronik- Supersonik[/b]". I'm kicked. I spent all weekend moving into my new place in Astoria Queens, and I am finally settling in. Its nice not to have to drive 80 miles a day to work anymore..My computer isn't hooked up yet, and the internet wizards haven't arrived yet with their magic boxes and lasers to fix it, so unfortunatelly, I will be off the grid for the few days and blogging will be sparse. I went and saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and really enjoyed it. I think everyone should see it..Its my birthday on Thursday, and no work Friday, which means I am going to pound town. Someone's comment on a previous blog got me thinking about Don West. Ah, Don West. If you have ever watched late night QVC, the show with the sports collectibles, then you've probably heard Don screaming like Chris Farley and exaggerating while tying to pitch you gem mint McGuire's and Sosas on stretch pay. Phrases like "Pristine!" and "Gem Mint 10" are still part of my vocabulary. The Don could sell ice to an eskimo. With the help of the mysterious "Kenny" on the line, Don will scream it up and sell you anything. He sounds like he drinks red bull and eats cocaine sandwiches all day. Ok. This I have to see one day. Before all the new jack hustlers in the Infomercial game, there was a small vietnamese real estate tycoon named Tommy Vu. You have to read the review of his infomercial. It sounds truly amazing. Best line:
"I hope you enjoy seeing my waterfall as much as I do. I built this water fountain right in front of my estate, so I feel good about it. I feel successful every time I come home. Speaking of waterfall, that remind me of a secret that made me to become very wealthy...."

This is a review of an even more ridiculous looking infomercial called "Crime In America" in which they sell some kind of glorified stun gun calling it the "Myotron Pulse Wave". Looks so budget and weird. Most ridiculous line:

Every time I go to Boston, my friends Jon and Ted make me watch "[b]Aqua Teen Hunger Force[/b]". It is a crazy, weird, hillarious show. In my opinion, the funniest characters are these two little bastards called the Mooninites. Well this is a complete episode of the show, featuring them and their terrible attitudes. I saw Dodgeball today, and it was so hillarious..Great cameos (I won't ruin them for you), and Ben Stiller is awesome in it. Please go see it you will not be dissapointed. My friends are joining a dodgeball league, and I think that movie convinced me to join as well. I'm dreading the work week, but it is an inevitability until my time machine is completed. Anyone who didn't get to watch Transformers as a kid, I feel sorry for you. It was terrific. To this day when I get juiced on Red Bull and vodkas I think I'm drinking energon cubes. The show rocked because the good guys were lamer than the bad guys. The Autobots were kind of gay. The Decepticons were so ill they named a gang in New York after them during the 1980's. The 3 illest transformers were [b]Megatron[/b], [b]Starscream[/b], and [b]Soundwave[/b]. Megatron turned into a fucking gun, and it doesn't get any realer than that. Starscream hated [u]everyone[/u], so he gets props for that. But none of them were as cool as Soundwave.
I think the reason I like electro music is because of Soundwave. The first time I heard a vocoder voice on a breakbeat I instantly thought of him. He had the coolest robot voice, and he turned into a boom box! Meanwhile the Autobots turned into Volkswagen beetles and talked like gay cowboys. So this is a video of a wicked fucking cool animation of Soundwave breakdancing. And you might think that its pretty nerdy, because it is. But nerds run the world, so get used to it, Paco. He's Acting Like Nixon in the Final Days
Has Bush Gone Over the Edge?

A sensational account of an imploding George Bush is
making the rounds.
It's by Doug Thompson, the publisher of Capitol Hill
Blue, put out in the dawn hours of June 4.
"President George W. Bush's increasingly erratic
behavior and wide mood swings has the halls of the
West Wing buzzing lately as aides privately express
growing concern over their leader's state of mind."
So begins Thompson's insider report. He goes on,
"In meetings with top aides and administration
officials, the President goes from quoting the Bible
in one breath to obscene tantrums against the media,
Democrats and others that he classifies as 'enemies of
the state.'
"It reminds me of the Nixon days," says a longtime GOP
political consultant with contacts in the White House.
"Everybody is an enemy; everybody is out to get him.
That's the mood over there." He was obviously talking
of late, Watergate-enmired Nixon, when a drunken
president would rail on far into the night, and when
Kissinger put it around that he had taken over command
of the nuclear button.
And talking of the nuclear button, Thompson says he's
interviewed, off-the-record, a number of White House
staffers who talk of Bush declaring that his
decisions are "God's will" and then tells aides to
"fuck over" anyone they consider to be an opponent of
the administration.
He quotes one aide as telling him, "We're at war,
there's no doubt about it. What I don't know anymore
is just who the enemy might be. We seem to spend more
time trying to destroy John Kerry than al Qaeda and
our enemies list just keeps growing and growing."
Criticism is impossible. The president reacts
fiercely. Here's how the Wednesday-night firing of CIA
director George Tenet really went down, according to
Thompson, citing an aide.
"Tenet wanted to quit last year but the President got
his back up and wouldn't hear of it. That would have
been the opportune time to make a change, not in the
middle of an election campaign but when the director
challenged the President during the meeting Wednesday,
the President cut him off by saying 'that's it George.
I cannot abide disloyalty. I want your resignation and
I want it now."
Thompson writes that "Tenet was allowed to resign
'voluntarily' and Bush informed his shocked staff of
the decision Thursday morning. One aide says the
President actually described the decision as "God's
will. God may also be the reason Attorney General John
Ashcroft, the administration's lightning rod because
of his questionable actions that critics argue
threatens freedoms granted by the Constitution,
remains part of the power elite. West Wing staffers

Ok. I love Bollywood. Some of the most bizzare and fantastic pieces of cinema come out of India, and this might be one of the best yet. As you all may or may not know, I spend alot of time looking for stupid movies to make me laugh. If it is foreign: A plus. If it is low budget: A plus plus. If it had a disco theme as well as 70's esque roller skating, then there is no rank for it. its that good. watch and feel the power.

Hello my anonymous internet brethren, its been ten days. I'm back from my vacation off the grid. To those of you who noticed the silence, I salute you for reading. 3 gold monkey stars go to all of you. Cheers. I would have blogged it up more, but my parents are the kind of people that are just now getting tech friendly. All they had was dial up, and trying to blog was harder than Chinese math. I encouraged them to get broadband, but they just don't get that nerd talk. They think if you get a new computer you get a "faster internet". But I learned to live without the precious internet, and got back to enjoying the simpler things in life. Ten days of family, weddings and sober rest gave me some much needed time away, and a chance to detox from NYC. I went to my cousin's wedding in LA, and it was really fun. I thought I wouldn't like LA. But I really did. Now I know why people go there and don't come back to the east coast..because its warm and sunny! I lived in Miami, and technically speaking that was warm and sunny as well, but for 6 months out of the year it felt like you were inside a sauna in Saigon. But La was suprisingly cool, and not too hot. We went to the beach in Malibu one day, me and my whole family and my cousins new in-laws, and it was so awesome. There were kids surfing, and a pod of dolphins in the water like 20 feet away from us. I thought I was in a Blink 182 video or something. My great Uncle Raul from Uruguay was with us, and on the flight back to my parents house we were getting on the plane sitting down, and the guy behind us trying to get into his seat accidentally bumped my uncle in the head, and my uncle turned around and fucking slapped the guy. Hit him wicked hard on the arm, and the guy looked at me and I said "I am so sorry" and he sat down bewildered. I thought Tom Ridge was going to come on board and pistol whip us both. Luckilly no one freaked out, because my uncle is 703 years old, so there was no need for anyone to get upset. Then, a really really big man sat next to him, and I was on the other side of him (myself being a a big guy as well), and he started asking me in broken english if the fat man would move so he could use the rest room. I apologized to him, and kept waiting for the tight faced stewardess to come over and yank us out of out seats. Luckilly the rest of the flight went by incident free. To keep him from causing any further incidents, I made him watch "Welcome to Mooseport", and I watched it as well. Jesus Christ that movie sucks. So after the nice sunny, restful trip I had, I descended into LaGuardia today and it was dark and rainy, and the first things I saw were smokestacks and a giant graveyard. NY, NY. I met up with my friends who went to our 5 year college reunion this weekend, and I am proud to report that 5 years out they partied like angry rock stars. Cheers. Thats the way to do it..
So now its time to jump back in to the daily grind. Here are too things good for a laugh on your Monday.

And here is footage from The national spelling bee. Anyone who has seen the documentary "Spellbound" http://www.thinkfilmcompany.c... knows how intense spelling bees are. The word this kid gets is so hard the kid [b]faints [/b]from thinking of how to spell it. Then he gets up and finishes the word. That is a true athlete.
