Herve Villachez: American Idol
05.26.04 (3:21 pm) [edit]
Every once in a while I see something that punches me inside my brain. We all know Mr. Villachez as the lovable Tattoo that Ricardo Montalban kept as his well dressed dwarf slave on Fantasy Island. Well did you know that he was a professional master of music as well? Watch this if you don't believe me.. Herve Villachez, and his trance inducing singing techniques. ...

Star Wars Sexual Innuendos
05.25.04 (10:57 am) [edit]
I guess George Lucas is a bit of a pervert, or such a lousy writer he didn't realize he wrote some of this stuff. Either way, a good bit of geek lore and a temporary time waster..Strictly for the pocket protector set. Star Wars say the darndest things...
"Star Wars IV: A New Hope"
1. "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid." 2. "Curse my metal body, I wasn't fast enough!" 3. "Look at the size of that thing!" 4. "Sorry about the mess..." 5. "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought." 6. "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?" 7. "You've got something jammed in here real good." 8. "Put that thing away before you get us all killed!" 9. "Luke, at that speed do you think you'll be able to pull out in time?" 10. "Get in there you big furry oaf, I don't care *what* you smell!"
"Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back"
1. "And I thought they smelled bad...on the *outside*!" 2. "Possible he came in through the south entrance." 3. "I must've hit it pretty close to the mark to get her all riled up like that, huh, kid?" 4. "Hurry up, golden-rod..." 5. "That's okay, I'd like to keep it on manual control for a while." 6. "But now we must eat. Cum, good food, cummm..." 7. "Control, control! You must learn control!" 8. "There's an awful lot of moisture in here." 9. "Size matters not. Judge me by my size, do you?" 10. "I thought that hairy beast would be the end of me!"
"Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi"
1. "Rise, my friend." 2. "Open the back door!" 3. "Hey, point that thing somewhere else!" 4. "It's just a dead animal..." 5. "Not bad for a little furball." 6. "How can they be jamming us if they don't know we're coming?" 7. "Come here, I won't hurt you. You want something to eat?" 8. "Keep on that one, I'll take these two." 9. "I want you to take her. I mean it, take her!" 10. "I don't think the Empire had wookies in mind when they designed her, Chewie."
Top ten sexually tilted lines from the trilogy
10. "What could possibly have come over Master Luke?" 9. "Hey, point that thing someplace else." 8. "You're a jittery little thing, aren't you?" 7. "I never knew I had it in me." 6. "Someone must've told them about my little maneuver at the battle of Taanab." 5. "There is good in him, I've felt it." 4. "Grab me, Chewie. I'm slipping -- hold on. Grab it, almost...you almost got it. Gently now, all right, easy, easy, hold me, Chewie. Chewie!" (Han) with "A little higher, just a little higher." 3. "Short help's better than no help at all." 2. "Hey, Luke, thanks for coming after me -- now I owe you one." 1. "Back door, huh? Good idea!"

Graffiti Playdo
05.24.04 (9:20 pm) [edit]
Ok, this is awesome. I have seen "graffiti creators" as online flash games, but this is so much better. Instead of having to watch over your shoulder for the pork chop patrol, here you can tag it up and no one will chase you and arrest your slow ass. You can paint anything you want, and the detail you can get is amazing. Geek out alone in a private room, or geek out with other cyber vandals and tag together. I love this. I won't stop until I am "all internet". Remember Ramo!

Invade Canada?
05.23.04 (8:54 pm) [edit]
My mother was born in the Northwest Territories in Canada, which by default makes me a Canadian citizen. I lived in Toronto when I was a kid, and all I remember was that in the winter the snow banks were taller than I was, and I sucked at hockey. This website proposes the hillarious idea of invading Canada. I for one wouldn't want that to happen because when "Bush Empire: Part II" comes out later this September, you know the draft is coming back. And believe me, they are going to extend the age requirements to include my not-so-youthful ass, and I will need a country to run to like a big fat coward.. http://www.invadecanada.us/" title="http://www.invadecanada.us/" target="_blank"http://www.invadecanada.us/

Signs of the Apocalypse: David Hasselhoff-The Rapper
05.20.04 (8:54 pm) [edit]
Thats it. The world is ending. I still had sliver of hope for the future of humanity until I read this. David Hasslehoff and his army of brain dead fans must be stopped. His recording career cannot go on any further. Dave, isn't it enough to have duped half of Europe into thinking you are talented? You must have made plenty of Deutsche marks swindling stupid German teenage girls for the last decade or so. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT RAP. I would rather see KITT from Knight Rider be a rapper. Ice-T: whats are you thinking, pal? Stick to playing giant rats in crap sci fi flicks and leave the rap world alone. Cmon. Its bad enough as it is..It's times like this I feel horrible shame for working in the music industry. I think I'm going to have one of the bad dreams tonight..read on and share the pain..
"Rap legend Ice-T is risking his massive reputation on his latest recruit - middle-aged former beach bum David Hasselhoff. The original gangsta believes he can turn the ex-Baywatch star into hip hop's next big thing.Ice and Hasselhoff, 51, are neighbours in Los Angeles and have struck up a close friendship.
The rapper - real name Tracey Morrow - told The Sun: "The man is a legend, we are going to show a whole new side of him.
"He's gonna come out as Hassle the Hoff.
"The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour."
The Hoff meister is no stranger to the music industry having conquered Germany through his soft rock skills.
And he notched up a no 35 hit in the UK with If I Could Only Say Goodbye in 1993."
I think I just threw up in my mouth.

Put the lotion in the basket..
05.18.04 (9:51 pm) [edit]
When I was in college, my friend Javier Castillo used to do a hillarious impression of the serial killer Buffalo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs (some of you out there know what I'm talking about). He knew all the lines, and would yell them out drunk or otherwise so loud that you couldn't help but laugh your ass of. To this day, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I think it would have got 3 3/4 stars from Ed McMahon on Star Search. So I was laughing thinking about that, and I found a page of audio samples from that movie. Now you too can enjoy such classics as "It rubs the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again" or " You don't know what pain is!" http://www.whengodsattack.addr.com/quam/jack.html" title="http://www.whengodsattack.addr.com/quam/jack.html" target="_blank"http://www.whengodsattack.add...
And here is a fitting tribute. From the people who brought you "Captain Picard" and "You're The Man now, Dog!" sites: http://jamegumb.ytmnd.com/
You might still think it isn't funny.Well this Mp3 from Silence Of The Lambs: The Musical might change your mind. That's right, it's the lotion in the basket song. And the guy singing it sounds alot like him. I couldn't stop humming this song all day. So cheers to Buffalo Bill: The creepiest and funniest murderer in modern cinema history..

Amazing Japanese Hummer
05.17.04 (8:54 pm) [edit]
Attention rappers: This is not a post about a new car for you and your dogs to drive around and look jiggy in. Its about a Japanese guy named Dokaka. This guy is amazing. I just heard one song, and it was so cool. He hums every instrument to recreate surprisingly good versions of lots of famous songs. Kind of like Bobby McFerrin, except this guy covers of Metallica and Iron Maiden. I listened to Rambling Man, and I am convinced that is what music sounds like to me when I am drunk. Just perfect.
About Dokaka
"As a five-year-old child, Dokaka hummed along with melodies on television, but one day plugged headphones into the TV, discovering that the sounds in his head matched those piping through the headphones. He quickly realized that songs consist of many parts like bass, drums, etc. Within a year, he began to record himself humming. "

Saturday is Monkey Day!
05.15.04 (5:28 pm) [edit]
Well, I really couldn't come up with a clever or witty subject for this post. Everyday is Monkey Day if you truly care about monkeys. I try to do a monkey related activity once a week, in homage to our Simian ancestors. Today I watched the movie "Project X" with notorious ape lover Matthew Broderick. That movie is sad. When Bluebeard gets fried in the flight simulator/ nuke room by that dick head who was in Die Hard 2, I really got choked up. Damn scientist bastard. Leave those monkeys alone. Anyway, I am staying home tonight cuz my money ain't right. No drinky for me. Its a good thing, I need to chill out and relax. So here's a bunch of links of crap I like and maybe you will too..
This is a real life web cam of the Anderson County Sheriff's Department. "Instances of violence or sexually inappropriate behavior by detainees during the booking process may occur. Viewer discretion is advised. This is a Jail not a simulation" ah yeah! hopefully late night we'll see some grimey ass drunk fights on here!

Here are bar cams from all over the world. See how people in foreign countries get wasted and fight each other for no reason just like Americans do every night in every bar across the country..

05.11.04 (7:01 pm) [edit]
My old friend and Freshman year roomate Justin called me today, and we had a great talk. It's nice to talk to people you haven't seen in a while. Its easy to phase out the mind-numbing traffic of 7 pm West Side Highway commuting. I laugh so hard when I talk to him. We used to watch this show from back in the day called Banacek. As you can see from the excellent photgraph above, it was a spectacular show. It was kind of like a poor man's Kojak. George Peppard played Thomas Banacek, quite possibly the weirdest tv detective ever. He barely made any sense when he talked. He would speak in weird Zen like sentences. I am convinced he was blind high and ad libbing all of his lines. So here's a link where you can learn about that show. Terrific.

We got talking about Ali G, and I wanted to post this..I posted back a while ago, but I don't care...This is a website where you can download all the episodes, as well as South park and futurama shows too..No BS. I couldn't get any nerdier. I might as well rock a cape. I will have both of these. I swear to you on my D & D advanced handbook. Look how cool these things look. My Dad is always like "I can't believe you still play this shit..its for kids, son. Grow up and be a man, stupid." But what does he know? When he grew up kids threw rocks at each others heads for fun. It was like Dinosaur times back then. He didn't grow up with Atari. Or CollecoVision. I've been watching blips and flashes on screens since I was a tadpole. It was kiddie crack. I remember loving the old stuff and how that was the best ever. So the new stuff only gets cooler by default. So check these suckers out:
Nintendo's one..2 screens for double geek vision:

70's sci fi is terrific, and it doesn't have to be from Japan to kick my ass. This is a show I stumbled across which looks amazing. Space: 1999. It was created and produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, who were well known for their popular puppet science fiction series in the 1960s such as Thunderbirds and Stingray. I was just a baby when this stuff was on, so they need to show this again. Tech TV shows Thunderbirds..I wonder if this is on the air anywhere? It has alot of things I like. Mustaches. Casual 70's Adidas style sportswear. Scruffy Mop haircuts. Cheesy pastel lighting. Poorly desiged monsters. Crazy Martin Landau. Here is a link to a photo book of the show with awesome images:

Big Foot Friday
05.07.04 (9:11 am) [edit]
So Big Foot is fake. I read yesterday that the famous footage that started it all is a hoax. Here's the story:
http://www.katu.com/news/story.asp?ID=66977" title="http://www.katu.com/news/story.asp?ID=66977" target="_blank"http://www.katu.com/news/stor...
Not surprised by this one. I believe in paranormal things. No doubt. But Big Foot is a tough sell for me. Maybe they have some in Tibet and other Asian countries that are peaceful places where nature is respected and relatively undisturbed. But this is America. We are the most avid hunters and nature destroyers in the entire world. We encroach on the natural habitats of every thing with a heartbeat. And we shoot everything too. So what makes this Monkey so special? All monkeys are special. He's no better than the rest of them. And I don't buy the "they are smart" thing. If they were smart, they wouldn't be naked crapping in the woods and eating twigs and berries all day. The fact that some country boy didn't blast one yet is suspicious to me. I mean, there is so much hunting going on in this country, hunters shoot each other all the time! How come no one has killed one? They aren't hard to miss..They are 7 foot tall monkeys!
Found this Sasquatch site..I tell ya, i'd sooner do this than join the army..

Now I love Japan, and all things from Japan. This should be obvious by now. They have lots of cool stuff over there. Sumo Wrestling, Zen Gardens, Noodle Houses, Chairman Kaga, cool cell phones..zany TV shows..what else do you need? But they put some crazy ass shit inside vending machines. I had heard a while back that there was an underground perv market for used school girls panties that they sold in vending machines in Japan. Now this was hard to believe. Well the pic below is proof..So unbelievable!!!! Wow, wow, wow..time to go to bed..

Behold a great website: McMurder.
This one is going to be shut down before you know it, so enjoy it while it lasts. A parody site on McDonalds that is truly Slanderific.
"As early as the 1970's, we have evidence that links the McDonald's Corporation to murders in at least two major U.S. cities: Los Angeles and New York City. We believe that the United Nations (U.N.) commissioned McDonald's corporate leaders to help control the increasing populations of its host cities by carrying out plans masterminded by the U.N. to systematically murder these cities' citizens. My name is Recon, and I blog. (Hi Recon!) It’s been 3 days since I last posted. Wednesday was Cinco De Mayo!! Ah, I love Cinco De Mayo..A day when we collectively celebrate obscure historical battles and Mexican binge drinking. Here's the history: http://www.vivacincodemayo.or... What a great excuse to drink frozen margaritas and yell "Cinco De Mayo!" for no reason..It was my friend Chi's birthday, and we went out and celebrated. Frozen Margaritas are awesome. If you are like me, you like Slurpees. Not Slush Puppies which are the embarassing cousin to the Slurpee. The real deal Slurpee. The frozen Margarita is really just a grown and sexy version of a slurpee, with a little pizzazz. To combine the beauty of a frozen drink with the undisputed blinding power of Mexican tequila is nothing short of pure genius. I had to cut myself off after 3. I could easily drink a bakers dozen of those. they taste so good. But that would make me go all Viking barbarian, and smell like booze at work and that would not be a good look. What is everyone doing for the weekend? I am going to Boston to get away from New York for a few days. My roommate is driving us up, primarily because I can't drive legally in Massachuttsetts. Why you ask? well its a blogworthy story. My friends Gabe And Charlie were getting married outside of Boston a few months back, and we got caught in the midst of the most unholy traffic jam I've ever seen. We left an hour ahead of the ceremony just to be safe, and had to pick up a friend downtown and then get on the highway to go to the church. I don't know how many of you have witnessed the madness of driving in boston, but trust me when I tell you it’s like driving through an M.C. Escher painting. The colossal failure know as the Big Dig has made it so the entire city looks like the gravel pit Fred Flinstone works at mixed with some kind of post apocalyptic urban death maze. And we were trapped right in the epicenter of it all. So there we were, swimming in a sea of stupid tourists and helpless meandering pedestrians with their goofy looking kids, trying to get the fuck out of dodge. When we finally got on our way I had to floor it. I was going around 105 trying to get there, dodging taxis and Mass hole drivers..I was going so fast I thought I was going to go back in time. I ended up going the wrong way on a bridge and wound up right back in Boston.. Then I got back on route and floored it..and I got pulled over. Now the only 2 times you are allowed to get away with speeding are when you are going to the hospital, or going to a wedding. Well I tried that excuse and it did NOT work at all. So Mr. Angry cop came stomping up to the car and he was red faced. He looked like he was going to kill me. He yells at me "You like speeding and weaving? " and I said " I'm sorry officer, I'm late for a wedding" and he goes "I don't care! License and registration!" ..So he ends up writing me a ticket for 250 bucks, and I missed my friends wedding ceremony. So out of principle I refuse to pay that ticket. I have concluded that I will never drive in the Commonwealth of Massachuttsets ever again. I would rather never drive there again than pay for that..So Mr. Angry Cop, if you are reading this, you suck!

AHHHH!! That picture is so crazy! ! EVIL BUSH!!! AHH!! This link is to a cool Bush speech simulator..This one is good...! You can save them too.. Just choose from the list and make custom speeches..alot of words to choose from..you can even insert speech breaks to make it sound more believable. Make uber evil ones for comedic value, or just let it run and don't type anything in, and Bush stares at you silently, blinking..it made me a little uncomfortable.

A few months ago, before I was gainfully employed, I went to visit my mom in Florida. One night we rented this movie called "Spellbound" which is a documentary on the national Spelling Bee competition. Honestly, one of the best movies I've ever seen. These kids are super jedi master smart. Unbelievable. The kid in the picture is a wicked hyper ADD kid who tweaks out the whole time..so awesome. The craziest part is the words they can spell..I didn't know alot of those words! And they are young kids! Go rent this or buy it..its so good..here is the preview:

I miss the weekend already

If I was king, the first thing I would do was make Mondays officially part of the weekend. Mondays fucking suck in every way possible. And sundays aren't long enough to fix your broken body before you are thrust back into the daily grind. Frankie Tits had a birthday on Saturday, and we started the night off at a place where the drinks cost 15 dollars each. (And no, it was not a strip club. That would have made sense.) But we ended up at another place where the booze flowed cheap and plenty. I got hammered. I mean Ted Kennedy driving off of a bridge drunk. I needed some stress relief. It's amazing how "partying" to relieve stress makes you feel terrible all day sunday, resulting in more stress on Monday. The Sopranos was awesome..It also proved that HBO can make even a show about the Mafia gay. So I woke up today and it was pissing from the sky. Worst weather ever. It looked like Nuclear Winter outside. Just grey and bleak. I literally had to drag myself out of my bed. But I made it in to work, which is unusual on Mondays for me. So today totally sucked, but then I bought a scratch ticket and I won 50 bucks! Score one for the bad guys! Nothing like evil green money to turn monday frowns upside down. Maybe now I can put a dent in my Star Jones sized phone bill. Verizon is seriously going to put a cap in my ass. One of my friends sent me this video last week: if you haven't seen it, its a must.. A lady falls down hard while stomping grapes on a TV news show..the best is its on Live TV, so the reactions of the news anchors are priceless...hard to watch, because she is obviously in soo much pain..Howard Stern has been playing the audio for this the last few weeks..check it out:

You wanna know why Eminem is one of the illest out? listen to this freestyle. I heard it on Hot 97 last week, and my friend Lodi sent me a static link to it..Hottest part is when he makes up a language..my favorite line:
" Hip Hop ain't been the same since Tupac moved to Cuba on us"
So thats where he went! Note: Eminem has potty mouth so this is not safe for work..check it: http://stream.allhiphop.com/e...

My friend Gabe showed me this a while back. It's an incredible Honda ad from Europe. This commercial was shot with no CGI supposedly more than 700 takes were required. Amazing. Hard to believe it isn't made with computers.
